Usually success stories are defined by the emotions associated with them, like this one.
The time you spend can be considered successful and productive when you get to know yourself and others better. Traveling convinces us that we haven’t lost the pulse of life yet.
This was the project, where we developed our skills in online safety and fake news.
Project participant countries were Armenia, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.
During the project, we held a series of workshops, seminars, and discussions on a variety of topics related to online safety, such as online privacy, identity theft, cyberbullying, and disinformation.
We also created educational materials, such as brochures and videos, and organized online campaigns to spread the message to a wider audience.
Passing 12 days in an intercultural environment helped a lot for expanding our worldview.
We worked on some projects where we were divided into groups. Everyone shared their knowledge with other participants, and looked at some cases from other points of view .
We explored each other’s culture and country during daily activities and cultural nights .
We debated, discussed topics such as cultural differences, how to distinguish fake news from the real ones, which sources to trust, and we even shared our own experiences we faced on social media.
A huge attention was paid to the topics included refugees and how they get discriminated, hated and left out from society, while just trying to heal their traumas and fit into a completely different lifestyle they aren’t ready for yet.
Despite the short duration of the project, it was nice to make a positive impact in the community and contribute to a timely and important cause. It was a great learning experience and one that we will always remember.
The participants of the project were very open minded and we all got integrated very fast. We created Erasmus friendships , which can surely last forever.
Erasmus is an amazing program which gathers a lot of young people from different parts of the world, gives an opportunity to study and develop together simultaneously getting acquainted with cultural features and customs of different nations, deepen the knowledge of English as well as learn new languages.
Communication with people of different cultures, distance and different opinions is the secret shade of creativity.
After returning home, it seems that the house remains the same, but something changes in our minds, so Erasmus is a powerful experience which can completely change your life!
The fun of Erasmus starts when you start your Erasmus and it increases when you return home with lots of new ideas.
Moreover, besides being educational, it was also fun. Only after returning back, we understand how much we miss the impact of beautiful emotions and good people.
