The EU Center Stage project greatly impacted the youth’s learning and key competencies, which they used for their future development and self-expression. The participants returned to their hometowns and shared their feelings with their friends and the people around them. This made them much more interested in the ways of participation and how it was possible to be actively involved in such European programs. Simultaneously, it increased the awareness of Erasmus+ programs.

Title: EU Center Stage: Unforgettable Experiences in San Lorenzo, Spain

When we first heard about the Erasmus+ EU Centre Stage program, we knew that we wanted to participate. We were excited about the opportunity to learn new things, travel to new places, and meet new people. Little did we know that this program would be one of the most transformative experiences of our lives.

The program was about more than just learning. We also had the opportunity to travel to new places and experience new cultures. Through workshops, interactive sessions, and cultural presentations, we immersed ourselves in the rich tapestry of each other’s traditions. We eagerly learned about national dances, traditional games, and even delved into the enchanting world of musical instruments. A workshop dedicated to the Armenian national “Narots” became a highlight, where we enthusiastically embraced the essence of Armenian musical culture.

We did not limit ourselves to mere observation and learning. We set out to create a unique fusion of Armenian and Spanish dances, bringing the vibrant spirit of both cultures together under a contemporary song. The culmination of our efforts was a spectacular flashmob that took place in three different locations. Our infectious energy attracted and inspired passersby to join in, experiencing firsthand the beauty and allure of national dances. By bridging cultural boundaries, we effectively communicated that national dances can be universally captivating.

San Lorenzo del Escorial Monasterio proved to be a highlight of our visit. This magnificent landmark, with its awe-inspiring architecture and rich historical significance, left an indelible impression on all of us. As we walked through the halls of the monastery, we felt a deep sense of awe and reverence for the centuries-old grandeur that surrounded us. The visit to San Lorenzo del Escorial Monasterio served as a testament to the program’s commitment to fostering a holistic understanding of the host country’s cultural heritage.

The EU Center Stage youth exchange program was an unforgettable experience for all of us. We formed strong bonds that transcended cultural differences, forging friendships that will last a lifetime. As the program drew to a close, emotions ran high, and tears were shed as we bid farewell to each other. The depth of our connection became evident, highlighting the transformative power of such intercultural exchanges.

So, the EU Center Stage youth exchange program in San Lorenzo, Spain, brought together participants from Armenia and Spain, creating an environment of cultural exploration, unity, and friendship. Through our shared experiences, we not only discovered the beauty of each other’s traditions but also imparted this appreciation to the local community through our captivating flashmob. As we explored the wonders of San Lorenzo, we deepened our understanding of Spain’s rich heritage. The program served as a testament to the profound impact that cultural exchanges can have, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all those involved.
