DYSTOPIALITY

PROJECT TYTLE: DYSTOPIALITY
LOCATION: Youth Exchange
in Poland
TIME: Beginning of October

About the Youth exchange!

Nowadays, inequalities and paradoxes are becoming our truth. And here we start “DYSTOPIALITY”! We are facing a reality where people struggle to find their place in society, where the risk of climate change is underestimated to maintain the interests of companies, and social media are increasing the risks of alienation in the new generation. How can we take action? If knowledge is the power and the youth is the key to a better future, the first step from which we can start is to raise awareness of the world’s condition and to re-sensitize people towards the existing injustices.

In the core, we will focus on gaining knowledge through documentaries and presentations. This theoretical part will be followed by interactive learning to give the participants the chance to understand firsthand and somehow experience the theory. As Stuart Miller said,  “who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that” (…) exchanging views, ideas and experiences is the root to expand and improve our perspective. Consequently, one of the most important parts of the project is to create a safe space for an open dialogue between participants, which will help to build up constructive debates about different subjects so as to improve the critical thinking and consciousness of participants about different social matters and issues.
