The main objectives of the youth exchange:

Developing participants’ democratic skills and knowledge of the historical context that transformed the Roma community into one of the poorest and marginalized ethnic minorities, issues regarding Roma culture, but also challenges, problems and the needs of Roma youth.
•Understanding the negative effects of discrimination and social exclusion of the Roma community as starting point and stimulating the active participation of young people in fighting the phenomenon of “Antigypsyism” in their local communities through visual means.
•Developing the capacity of young people to prepare, implement and evaluate an online and offline information / awareness campaign, to develop media and social media content, to convey a message through visual means (especially videos) and wear social media in a responsible way.
•Assuming European values ​​on tolerance, non-discrimination, human rights, culture diversity and the development of interpersonal skills, social responsibility, civic spirit and initiative among the young participants in the exchange.
•Planning 6 informative / awareness campaigns to combat the phenomenon of “antigypsyism” and improving the perception of the Roma community

  1. Hello, I am from Armenia. I was very interested in the topic of discussion. In general, it is a very important topic for the youth of every country. We are all full members of this planet and we should have equal rights. As interesting as the topic is, I have a great desire to make new friends and spend an interesting time.
