From June 21 to June 28, 2026, we had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “TWIST: Tomorrow’s World Starts Today” in Marianówka, Poland. There were participants from five different countries, and it was honestly one of the best experiences we have had.
The project focused on human values, intercultural dialogue, empathy, critical thinking, and understanding different perspectives. Every day we had activities, discussions, games, and group tasks that helped us get to know each other better and also learn more about ourselves. We worked on communication, teamwork, and other soft skills while sharing our cultures and experiences.
Besides the educational part, we also had an amazing time exploring the area. Marianówka is surrounded by beautiful forests and nature, which made the whole experience even more special. One of our favorite memories was walking through the forest at night to watch the moon. It was peaceful and something we will definitely remember.
During the week, we also visited Bystrzyca Kłodzka and Kłodzko, where we explored the towns and learned more about the local culture and history. We visited the Maria Śnieżna Sanctuary, which had incredible views and a calm atmosphere, and we also went to the Rezerwat Wodospad Wilczki waterfall, one of the most beautiful natural places we saw during the trip.
What made this exchange truly unforgettable was the people. We met amazing friends from different countries, learned about their cultures, and created memories that will stay with us for a long time. Even though we all came from different backgrounds, we quickly became one big group that supported each other, laughed together, and enjoyed every moment.
The volunteers and the staff also played a huge part in making this experience so special. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made everyone feel comfortable from the very first day, organized everything really well, and created a friendly atmosphere where everyone felt included.
This Erasmus+ project was much more than just traveling. It helped us become more open-minded, improve our communication skills, and understand the importance of empathy, respect, and cooperation. It showed us that even people from different countries can connect through shared values and experiences.
We are very grateful that we had the chance to be part of this project. It was an unforgettable week filled with learning, adventure, nature, and friendships that we hope will last for many years.
