From October 30th to November 6th, we had the unforgettable opportunity to take part in a Youth Exchange set in the breathtaking mountains of Murzasichle. Titled “Discover Culture: Górale,” the project invited us to immerse ourselves in the rich traditions of the region while learning about the diverse cultures of our fellow participants.
Young people from Poland, Armenia, Latvia, Ukraine, Serbia, Georgia, and Turkey came together with one shared goal: to discover, understand, and celebrate cultural diversity. Each day was filled with interactive workshops that brought local life closer to us—through traditions, customs, creativity, and meaningful dialogue.
Our evenings were dedicated to cultural nights, where each country showcased its music, dances, cuisine, and stories. These moments not only deepened our knowledge but also strengthened our mutual respect and connection.
One of the highlights of the exchange was our trip to Zakopane, where we explored the vibrant town, its unique architecture, and its unforgettable atmosphere. In our free time, we exchanged thoughts on various topics, saw the world from new perspectives, and learned from one another in ways that extended far beyond the sessions.
Of course, no youth exchange would be complete without the energy of fun games, dances, and energizers—which filled our days with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
