I had the exceptional opportunity to participate in the framework of International Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges Program. I was the delegate of the Republic of Armenia in the Training Course “Social Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion and Sustainability” that was held in Bakuriani, Georgia. This ERASMUS+ project aims to disseminate good practices at European level through the training of youth workers that can provide innovative skills about the social entrepreneurial field to the young people, seeing their active involvement and of the entire local community.
In 10 days we had different study sessions and workshops for Youth empowerment by developing a set of tools that improved our knowledge in the field of social entrepreneurship. One of the most important components of the project was the exchange of cultures among young people and creation of a tolerant environment. Cultural evenings are especially notable in this direction, in which the representatives of each country were given the opportunity to other participants to learn about their country’s history, traditions, culture, music, or cuisine.
At the end of the training course, we visited Vardzia and Rabat and got closer to Georgian culture.
I spent 2 amazing weeks in Georgia from the end of March until the middle of April. I got to know around 20 young people from 8 other countries with whom we have done together everything: talked, drew posters, learned, played games, presented our countries with the national food, sweets, and drinks, our cultural heritage, Kahoot’s, music and dances, watched films, did amazing and crazy photos, played with the snowballs and etc.
We walked in the mountains and explored the caves, fortresses, and castles during the day. and were drinking, singing, talking, and partying at night. It was a great opportunity for me to take part in this program.
I would like to say thank Future in Our Hands NGO for giving me such an opportunity.
