This project will be held in Madrid, Spain and will bring together 48 young people from 8 different countries: Spain, Malta, Turkey, Armenia, Finland, Greece, Poland and Portugal aged between 16 and 30 years.

KA1 YOUTH: “EUROGRAFIA”. The main idea of this project  is to create a space for youth exchange where they can learn the geography of the European Union in a sense in which they can also discover and explore the different cultures of each place.

To support the idea of this Youth Exchange, we want young people to understand the importance that knowledge of geography has in understanding the historical and cultural backgrounds of different countries and the similarities and differences between them. By including participants with fewer opportunities, victims of geographic, social or economic obstacles, we want to put the message of unity, inclusion and beneficence of the European Union to practice.
We’ve organized a series of activities, all related to the topic of the project, that will be realized in a recreational environment, open spaces and outdoor places. By this, we can involve citizens and spread our message of a unified Europe. All the activities are connected to the non-formal education of young people.
After increasing a sense of awareness of the importance of knowledge of geography in discovering and understanding a country’s culture, participants can share this knowledge in their home societies.

The project is funded in the frames of Erasmus+ project.
