Yesterday on June the 5th, at 15:00 hundreds of people came to the North Avenue to participate in the Europe Day Information Fair and learn about the possibilities given by the European Union to the young people. Building on the tradition of the last five years the European Delegation of Armenia organized Europe day to celebrate peace and unity in Europe.
More than 30 EU-funded projects in progress participated in the fair to present information of interest to young people. The organizations were presenting the participants the work they have done within a few years and how can others participate in them.
Future in Our Hands also participated in the fair representing Erasmus+ as one of EU projects with a special emphasis on information about EVS (European Voluntary Service). Our youth workers and volunteers introduced to the young people the opportunities given by Erasmus+, our current projects and offers for them. There was also a picnic menu which introduced the cuisines of various European countries.
As a result of interesting discussions about EVS a lot of young people got inspired and went home to search for EVS projects appropriate to their interests.
