The YE “Bringing Old City Back to Life” took place from 7.06-15.06.12 in Krsko, Slovenia. 4 countries took part in the project: Armenia, France, Azerbaijan and Slovenia. The theme of the project were to organize a middle age fare and music events (learning about middle age clothing, music, products,etc..)
A group of 6 participants(3 girls and 3 boys, age 14-18)and one leader represented Armenia in the project. The participants were hosted by Youth Center Krsko NGO in Krsko, Slovenia.
The group took an active part in all kind of workshops, ice-breaking games, energizers and also took an active part in preparation of International evening.
While the project the group has an opportunity to visit a few sightseeing in Slovenia, as well museums. While 8 days project, the participants got to raise awareness about EU, about YiA Actions and it’s possibilities. Also they managed to get team-working, organisational skills, how to get in touch with people from different cultural background. They learnt how to respect and value the cultural differences.
