SUCCESS STORY: Business Skills for a Sustainable Future🌿🌎

In the days 20th February – 1st March our Armenian team joined an international Training Course “Business Skills for a Sustainable Future” in Blansko, Czech Republic.

It was a training designed for youth workers and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn how to build and manage sustainable and impactful businesses, and to equip them with tools necessary to implement their business ideas.🍃

🌸 This is how our participants describe their experience:

”We recently had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ project focused on developing business skills, and it was truly an unforgettable experience for our entire team.

From the very beginning, we were amazed by how perfectly everything was organized. Every activity had a clear purpose and meaningful structure. Nothing felt random — each workshop, discussion, and group task was carefully designed to help us grow both professionally and personally.

One of the most intense and memorable parts of the project was the 24-hour hackathon. Working under constant time pressure to generate ideas, develop a business concept, and prepare a complete solution within such a limited timeframe was challenging. However, it pushed us beyond our comfort zones and significantly strengthened our teamwork, resilience, creativity, and decision-making skills.

The project reached its peak on the presentation day, when we pitched our ideas in front of a panel of judges. Presenting in a professional setting gave us valuable real-world experience and boosted our confidence. The feedback we received was constructive and insightful, helping us refine and improve our business concepts.

Throughout the project, we developed essential competencies such as leadership, communication, strategic thinking, marketing, Lean Canvas, MVP development, and business modeling. Several concepts had a particularly strong personal impact on our team members.

As Khachik shared:
“One of the most valuable concepts I gained from this experience was Ikigai. Understanding it helped me reflect deeply on my personal and professional direction and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.”

Tigran reflected on balancing technology with business thinking:
“Before coming, I believed my deforestation detection model was already technically developed. However, I realized I had done almost nothing on the business side. Thanks to the workshops on presentation skills, marketing, Lean Canvas, MVP development, and communication, I now feel that both the technical and business parts of my idea are finally balanced.”

Lena highlighted the educational impact of the program:
“As a pedagogue, I was inspired by the trainers’ method of immediately applying every concept in practice. The strong focus on teamwork and collaboration deeply influenced me, and I gained practical tools to transform cultural values into sustainable business ideas.”

These reflections truly represent the transformation we experienced. This Erasmus+ project was much more than learning about business — it was about growth, clarity, collaboration, and stepping into real entrepreneurial thinking together as a team.

We are deeply grateful for this opportunity and strongly encourage other young people to participate in Erasmus+ projects. It is an experience that challenges, inspires, and transforms.”
