In November, we participated in an inspiring Erasmus+ project in the Grassroots Academy in Tbilisi, Georgia, hosted by Umbrella Youth Organizatio and gsp_gasikentgm.
Comprehensive program was focused on non-formal education and youth work, offering a remarkable opportunity for youth workers to expand their professional horizons. The project brought together participants from various countries, creating a rich environment for learning and cultural exchange. Attendees gained valuable insights into youth work methodologies, exploring different approaches and sharing experiences from their respective nations. A highlight of the program was the visit to the youth center in Gori, which provided a practical understanding of local youth engagement initiatives. Participants had the chance to network, develop professional connections, and learn about innovative youth work strategies across different cultural contexts.
The academy went beyond traditional training, offering a dynamic and interactive approach to understanding youth development and non-formal education. By sharing best practices and experiences, the project demonstrated the power of international collaboration in supporting youth empowerment and professional growth. This Erasmus+ experience not only enhanced individual skills but also contributed to a broader, more comprehensive understanding of youth work on an international scale.
The Youth Exchange is 🇪🇺 co-funded by the European Union.
