The Youth Exchange “Discover Culture” took place in Władysławowo, Poland, from November 13 to November 20. The project gathered 35 participants from Poland 🇵🇱, Armenia 🇦🇲, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Ukraine 🇺🇦, Ireland 🇮🇪, Turkey 🇹🇷, and Tunisia 🇹🇳.
Our experience in the Youth Exchange was the most memorable, and we can confidently say that it was the first, but not the last one. The main idea of this project was to discover other countries’ cultures from all over the world, and we are glad to say that we successfully did it. We gained so much knowledge about countries’ values, habits, rituals, traditions, food, national dances, and music. The funniest part was the national dances and trying new, interesting food. During the dances, everyone was so concentrated and tried to do their best.
We also enjoyed the Polish nature during the project because the place where we stayed was surrounded by such beautiful locations, and the sea was so close to us.
It was so entertaining to discover our differences and similarities. Due to the international groups, we all had to speak English, so we had opportunity to improve our language skill. Now, we were not afraid of making mistakes while speaking because of the very friendly atmosphere. Despite our differences, we all had so many similarities, and We really enjoyed communicating with everyone.
We are so thankful for getting this amazing opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful and unforgettable project.
