About The Project:
In the picturesque Renaissance town of Tryavna, situated in central Bulgaria, 37 young people from 7 different organizations and countries will join together for a common cause – the fight against one of the most recent and painful problems in Europe in recent years – youth unemployment.
The main objective of the project is to equip young people with new knowledge and skills, in order to improve their chances of finding a job or creating one themselves, knowing how to properly advertise and present it.
The goals and problems addressed are not only contrary to the objectives of the Erasmus + program, but also one of the main problems that the EU is working on. Using many different informal methods, mainly through learning by doing, some practical knowledge and skills will be transferred to young people who can easily be imparted and thanks to which everyone who uses the lessons learned from the project can find a good job and / or have a foundation, on which they can build and develop their entrepreneurial idea.
The goals of the project are:
– Raising knowledge in the field of youth unemployment;
– Enhancing the range of tools, that can be used to find solutions to problems;
– Raising CV writing and cover letter skills;
– Improving presentation during job interviews;
– Learning how to use properly the Elevator Pitch;
– Improving presentation skills in front of a public;
– Improving oratorical and negotiation skills and defending position;
– Inhancing knowledge of the Erasmus + program and how to benefit from it in future personal and professional development;
– Promoting active citizenship;
Profile of the participant:
-Aged 16-24;
-English level (at least A2 level of speaking and writing);
-Committed to contribute to the follow up of the project;
-Be interested in developing competences and implement follow-up initiatives;
-Be aware of the characteristics of the learning environment (non-formal education);
-The group of each country will be obligated to conduct dissemination events for other young people in their city/town, within 2 months at the end of the youth exchange.
