Profile of the participants
– Age 18-25y.o.
– Able to communicate in English fluently
– Youth who are interested in starting youth work
– Has Interest in entrepreneurship
– Participants with fewer opportunities (Social, economic, educational and geographical obstacles)
– Each partner organization will be represented by 5 participants+1 group leader.
Participant countries: Georgia, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, Armenia.
Objectives:
-To instill and develop important personal characteristics that will be crucial for those wishing to become entrepreneurs;
-To empower young people to transform their hobbies into their future careers;
-To develop entrepreneurship skills, teamwork, and leadership skills;
-To work on business ideas, basic business skills, and marketing methods including digital skills we plan to have dedicated workshops on thinking and creating business ideas;
-To enhance the employability of the participants;
-To gain discourse and strategic competencies needed in the labor market;
-To promote understanding across different groups, promote equal opportunities, and reduce differences in achievements;
-To enhance the soft skills and digital competencies;
-To give the participants the opportunity to be able to communicate in a foreign language and promote multilingualism;
-To promote cultural awareness and respect for other cultures and backgrounds in the international environment.
The project will take place in Bakuriani, Georgia. Bakuriani is a ski resort in the Borjomi district of Georgia. It is located on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range, at an elevation of 1,700 meters above sea level. The region around Bakuriani is covered by coniferous forests (mainly made up of spruce). The resort lies 30 km from Borjomi and is located within the so-called Bakuriani Depression/caldera. The resort is connected with Borjomi by an electrified narrow-gauge railway. The present-day area of the town was built up by lava flows from the nearby Mukhera volcano. Participants of the project will be accommodated in “Loft Hotel Bakuriani” in the rooms of 2-3 people of the same gender. The weather during the month of July is quite warm in Bakuriani, but we recommend taking some warm cloth with you as in the evenings it might be chilly.
