EVS opportunity for youngsters with IT skills in “ Żory Municipal Public Library” Zory, Poland
What do volunteers do at the library?
At first: lending books is not the responsibility of our volunteers!
We act on many fields connected with culture and education. Our volunteers lead their own workshops, especially for children and youth, but also for adults. So we expect strong, motivated to work, active and creative volunteers having interesting hobbies, talented in the field of art, music, dance, photography, movie-making, handicraft etc. We also welcome people with IT skills such as programming, 3d modeling, VR, robotics, etc. (Our library is great equipped – we have robots, drons, VR gogle, video camera and much more, and proper software.) Who wants can lead language lessons. If somebody has marketing or graphic designer skills we can invite her/him to work with our marketing team!
What we offer?

– 35 hour work week (in the afternoon and evening),
– accommodation in a good equipped, modern and comfortable apartment in the city center (large living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, TV and access to the internet ); pictures in the attachment),

– free public transport.
Our volunteers should use English on a communicative level to avoid communication problems.
We plan to host the volunteers since 1 February 2018 to 26 January 2019 (360 days).
