Looking for a volunteer for an EVS project in Denmark
Description of the project

Onkel og Tante (Uncle and Aunt) is a kindergarden with 2 sections, which are placed 7 km from each other. Each section has space for 45 children, from age 0-6.
The 2 sections of Onkel og Tante are located differently. One of them is located on the countryside with fields around. The other is located in the middle of a small town, only about 15 km from Vejle, which is the nearest bigger city. Vejle has about 53.000 residents.

The 2 sections are different and have different focuses. One section focus on nature-activities, where the other primarily focus on creative activities. During most of the day the children are divided into two groups: the 0-2 year olds and the 3-6 year olds. Together with the youngest we sing and play every dag. Everyday the children from 2 years and up will spend some time playing outside. Children aged 3-6 have a lot of excursions. The excursions are varying and can be everything from going out into the nature, making bonfires, going to museums, and go swimming.

The volunteers will be involved in the daily work with the children and will have a schedule for the week. Some days the volunteer will spend time with the youngest, aged 0-2 years, and some days the volunteer will spend time with the children aged 3-6 years. The volunteer is expected to make activities with the children and the staff will support the volunteer. Twice a year we have a theme-week, where we learn about a specific country. One of these weeks we expect that the volunteer can make acitvities that relate to his or her country.
Overall we want to give the volunteer an opportunity to learn about life in a kindergarden in Denmark.
