MOVE Week BG is part of ISCA’s NowWeMove campaign and the European MOVE Week. BGBA is coordinating MOVE Week BG and we are looking for young people with interests in the field of sport and physical activity to be assistant-coordinators.

This is your opportunity to experience something new, broaden your horizons, discover a different culture and gain experience in the field of international youth, sport and culture. Seize the opportunity to become an EVS volunteer with BGBAA in Bulgaria!

BG Be Active Association will apply for the next deadline for European Voluntary Service (EVS) on the 4th of February 2015. By applying to this deadline, BGBA is looking for 2 volunteers to join the team in our office for a period of 12 months.

Tasks

You will be part of this pan-European campaign organized by ISCA and coordinated by BGBA in Bulgaria, in particular with a view to marketing, event organization, country-specific promotion, etc. See more at www.moveweek.eu and http://bulgaria.moveweek.eu/ You will therefore be able to challenge yourself in tasks such as: • Event organization • Communication and marketing • Analysis and reporting • Fundraising

Criteria

The working language at the office will be english, so there are minimal requirements for english language skills! – Interests in sport and physical activity – Motivation – Education/qualifications – Experience in the fields of sport, physical activity, and/or youth organisations, NGOs – English language skills

Procedure

Candidates must apply with CV and motivational letter, both in english. With the shortlisted candidates will be made an interview via Skype. The selection process will be accomplished through consideration of the interests, motivation and attributes of the candidates with regard to the activities of the available projects. Openness and transparency is ensured in a selection process where criteria are available to everybody and in which all applicants will be informed about the results, as well as the reasons for these results. BGBA does not discriminate against any background and welcomes all people who are keen and motivated to learn. The decisions are made upon selection criteria according to their qualifications, motivation, extracurricular activities, experiences, travels, maintaining a gender balance, and a diversity in countries.
