On the 1st of July one of our volunteers Shushanik Zargaryan returned from her EVS from Czech Republic.
According to her the ten months she spent in Czech Republic were very special for her, and she will always remember about it as the best experience of her life. She met a lot of new people, discovered new culture. She learned a lot and trave7b5b3c3b-01df-4755-bb9d-dd364f3ec9a9led as much as she could.
During her EVS Shushanik worked in the library. Her tasks were to open the library every day and help the visitors. She also prepared lectures of Russian made an exhibition and presentations and a lot and lot of other things.
Besides she developed a lot of important skills. She learned basics of the Czech language as well developed the ability to adapt to multicultural environments, communicate with different people, representatives of different cultures and to respect different points of view. What is most important, she learned to live with other people in the same house and to respect each other’s values and cultures.
All in all, the project was a very important and life changing experience for her.
