The European Program “STEP FORWARD” organised by NGO AENAO in Thessaloniki was a 9-day seminar, running from 22 to 30 November 2017 under the Erasmus+ program. In this program participated 39 young people (from Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia,Romania, Egypt, Finland, Algeria, Georgia, Bulgaria and Italy)
The objectives of the program were as follows:
To raise awareness of young people about E + and the opportunities it provides.
To Increase knowledge about E+ and DEOR activities
The strength the skills in program management within the E +.
To highlight the qualities of E+ program.
To promote non-formal learning among young people.
Participants will be invited to take part in workshops where they will practice the acquiredm knowledge and skills, explore issues affecting local communities and finally implement the dissemination of the program.
A follow-up meeting (March 7-9, 2018) where participate in order to:
a young person from each country will Present the success of the local workshop, methods and tools used. Enable participants to organize new actions based on the European strategy and the
2020 targets. Prepare the ground for greater networking and enhancing long-term and qualitative cooperation.
Education will be flexible by combining theory and practice. There will be active participation, exchange of experiences, teamwork, discussions, brainstorming, simulation exercise, role plays, etc. Seminar and follow-up methods will be based on non-formal learning and will take into account to a large extent the needs and interests of participants.
