I was participant of Start Up Summit in Czech Republic. The project took place in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic.
On the first days of the project we had to reveal ourselves and find our business idea than we had to separate into small groups with similar ideas and work on our business project together.
During the whole project the organizers arranged various lessons and workshops concerning our business ideas in different locations. We have learned business canvas steps, how to create good advertising company and choose marketing strategy, how to create and edit video and the most important and interesting point for me is workshop “Presenting like superhero”. During this workshop i have discovered a lot of things about my communication skills, gesters and my skills as a public speaker. It turned out not so simple to impersonate yourself or to come up with an advertisement of a very mass product for a few minutes and present it correctly.
Before attending to this project I already had a business idea, I have shared my thoughts with my group members and we decided to work together on my project.
This project is dedicated to Armenian artists. I want to introduce Armenian art as a large map with many nuances and subtitles through the different and beautiful art prints. Our main goal is popularization art and culture with your nation, we want to show the world that the culture of each country has value and you can identify yourself with this culture with our help by wearing unique printed accessories with artist paintings of each country or city.
If you have a great idea but you can not present it properly your business idea will not work. With the help of our group member, participant from Czech Republic and his flawless talent to present an idea we scored a lot of points and won at the last stage of the project “Shark tank”.
We also managed to have a trip in Prague. For me a very important part of Prague is the Franz Kafka Museum and I fulfilled my old dream. But there is still much in this wonderful city that we would have liked to explore.
I would like to thank the organizers, who did everything to make us feel comfortable and well and tried to fill every day with something useful.
The project was hosted by Proactive Mind in Czech Republic.
