YiA project “Rythms and Sounds: Europe in Lights” took place in 2012 23.09-02.10 in Latvia, Rezekne. The participants were hosted by “World at Our Home” NGO. The project was funded by EU. The main idea of the project was to spread dance among the Europe and create a European dance together with all the participant countries. The project was really successful. Participant countries:Armenia, Turkey, Romania, Latvia. There were 8 participants from each country and 1 leader.
The project was realized with the cooperation AIYCO in Armenia.
While the project the participants had an opportunity to share their traditional and folk dances. Also they had a place on the project to organize native language training.
Methodology of the exchange was: trainings, ice breaking games, energizers, workshops.
Evaluation of the project was made by a great concert for the public.
