This multilateral Youth Exchange called “Do Sport – Be Active” took place from 20th to the 27th of September 2013, in Ivancice, Czech Republic.
25 participants and 7 leaders from the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Latvia, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia and also 5 volunteers from Germany, Georgia, Italy, Portugal , Spain and Armenia were involved in the project. The main idea was to promote active citizenship through physical activities including sport, outdoor activities and different workshops. During these 8 days the participants shared their culture and traditions, discovered the similarities and diversity of cultures presented on youth exchange project. Non-formal education methodology is a base of all activities that fosters the active involvement of the participants. It creates a space for peer education and allows the mutual learning situations on equal basis despite the cultural, educational or social background.
