Cluj-Napoca Volunteer Center is looking for temperate, gentle, independent and open to foreign cultures volunteers to work in a pedagogical garden, a pedagogical farm and a pedagogical kitchen in Green School of Cluj-Napoca.

The candidates can chose between 2 different periods:
 September 2018 – February 2019 – 4 volunteers (6 months)
 February 2019 – July 2019 – 4 volunteers (6 months)
Key responsibilities / Duties:
 take care of the school garden;
 teach children to grow different plants and vegetables;
 teach children to take care of animals (chickens, cats, dog);

feed the animals and take care of the plants;
create and take care of the sensory garden;
teach children how to cook (including recipes from your own country);
contribute to the children's lessons about how to live a healthy life;
facilitate nature-based activities for children and youth;
create a personal project – propose activities for the Cluj-Napoca community.
All of these activities will take place in the host organization, Green School, while Centrul de Voluntariat Cluj-Napoca will be the coordinating organization. Conditions to join the project:
 age between 18 – 30 years;
 citizenship of: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine.
 good ability to communicate in English;
 ability and motivation to work with children and youth.
Selection process:

 first phase: complete THIS FORM until the 15th of December 2017;
 second phase: Skype interview 18th – 21th December 2017;
 find out the results of the selection on our website (GREEN SCHOOL) and receive it by email until the 22 nd of December 2017.

Note: After the selection you will start working with the Cluj-Napoca Volunteering Center`s team on adapting the project to fit better your own desires and interests while
keeping its main outlines. The project will be submitted for Erasmus+ funding on the 1st of February 2018. If everything goes well and the project will be funded, you will start your service in SEPTEMBER 2018 or February 2019, according to our common decision.
