We’re looking for 4 participants+1 group leader for an approved youth exchange in Georgia
Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Cultural Art Gene” will be implemented in Telavi, Georgia, from 17 to 26 July, 2017. Participants will be represented from 7 different countries, (Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Ukraine) from program and Eastern Partnership countries. Young people who are motivated and desire to obtain knowledge and experience regarding the inter-cultural issues. Applicant organization is “Stichting MasterPeace” from Netherlands, hosting organization is Caucasus Youth Nexus, from Georgia.
Main idea of the project is to share cultures and traditions through art and music among young people from different countries. All the methods used during youth exchange will be based on the non-formal education principles: group work and discussions, creative workshops, inter-cultural nights, inter-cultural workshops, team building and trust building activities, energizers, ice-breakers, reflection groups, creative art and music workshops, excursions/study visits and etc. Additionally, we involve young people in very traditional festival of Georgia “ART GENE” ( http://artgeni.ge), where participants will have opportunity to not only learn Georgian culture but to represent their traditions and culture in this festival through traditional music and dances as well.
Sustainability of the project will be the inter-cultural learning that will be present during the project and creation of networking of like-minded organizations between program and partner countries. Thus, after coming back to their countries they will keep working on the same issue, they will share this knowledge and experience to their organizations, universities, friends and etc.
In the end of the project, all participants will obtain Youthpass, certificate of competences
