The game factory”  will be a 5 day training course for youth workers and youth leaders which supports them in developing their skills in using games as a tool to active inactive young people. The training will cover such topics as the theory and practice of game playing, workshop planning, adapting games to different target groups, and the use of traditional and folk games as a tool for non-formal learning.

The training will use as a starting point in Youth work and provide participants the opportunity to bring their own games and adapt them to a non-formal learning environment; and the opportunity to develop their practical skills in leading games workshops.

A temporary day program looks like:

01 March: arrival
02 March: Getting to know, drama games, cultural evening
03 March: Non formal education, role and position of youth workers, trust games
04 March: study trip to Lviv
05 March: Games in practical setting, presentation youth pass/Erasmus+
06 March: What comes next on your plate, Future planning and evaluation
07 March: departure

The participants are coming from Ukraine, Georgia, Lithuania. Italy, Slovakia, Estonia, Belarus, Armenia, Latvia, Romania and the Netherlands. Together with local staff and team of trainers the group composition is 24 person in total. On purpose we chose to work with a small group. This in order to ensure for example the intensity of the training and to work closely towards a trust relationships between participants whereby feedback process better can proceed with more ground.  More “Game factory”  detail follows once we have finished the list of participants.
