Study Visit CRONOGRAF

29 May – 4 June 2013

During 5 days, 30 participants from 13 countries from the European Union, East Europe and the Caucasus region (Moldova, Romania, Georgia, Czech Republic, Spain, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Turkey, Armenia, Slovenia, Belgium and Germany) were familiarized with the state of the media in Moldova and discovered the aspects of the national and local media. The project answered to the questions: what is the media, how it is constructed and functions and how it can be used in a more efficient way, having as example the media in Moldova. The participants will analyze several successful examples and will discuss about the entrepreneurial possibilities offered by the media tools.

The Study Visit  was in parallel with the International Documentary Film Festival CRONOGRAF, the 11th edition. The participants had the opportunity to have a glimpse in the world of the documentary film and in the audiovisual structure in the Republic of Moldova. Furthermore, they participated from the inside in an international film festival, interacting with the organizing team and the guest filmmakers, sharing their experience and following all the events on the festival agenda. For five days they were part of an international artistic community.

The Study Visit was implemented within the Youth in Action Programme of the European Union, with the financial support of the EACEA.
