DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
Vestjyllands Højskole is a Folk Highschool that offers non-formal education for adults. Most students are between 18 and 26 years old. We have no academic requirements for admittance and there are no exams, but you get a diploma when you leave.
Among our activities, we have dance, ecology, theatre, singing, music, ceramics, painting ,writing, and cooking on the schedule. We follow an environmentalist philosophy and we produce all the energy needed ourselves. We have a large ecological garden, which is maintained by local voluntaries.
As a volunteer, you will be working in the garden, but in your spare time you will have the opportunity to take part in the above mentioned activities as well.
