  • Hosting organization: Association “Professional Forum for Education”
  • Target group: Youth workers from Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Malta, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Cyprus and Armenia
  • Expenses: flights/buses/trains, local transportation from Sofia to the venue and back, as well as full board accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The flight/bus tickets will be reimbursed to the participants upon presenting all tickets, invoices and boarding passes
  • Limits for travel costs: North Macedonia and Romania: 180 EUR per person for a round trip Italy, Malta, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Armenia: 275 EUR per person for a round trip Visa costs for Armenian participants: covered upon presenting invoices and receipts

Objectives of the training course

  • Build the capacity of the youth workers from the partner organizations and beyond for addressing the needs of young people they work with in relation to the responsible, efficient, mindful and healthy use of digital media, as well as to critical thinking and analyzing online content.
  • Encourage youth workers to address the needs of young people in the area of digital and social media use, especially those of disadvantaged young people who often lack basic skills and knowledge in this field and do not have access to tools, information and guidance on how to use ICTs in a healthy way.
  • Tackle topics related to online safety, digital wellbeing, media literacy and critical thinking that are very relevant in an increasingly digital era, especially in a period of increased dependence on digital tools for communication, work, studies, etc.

Eligibility criteria for the applicants:

  • Aged 18+, 3 participants per country 
  • Resident in one of the participating countries of the project
  • Has experience in working with organizations on programs/projects for youth and knowledge in non-formal education
  • Motivated to develop skills and knowledge in the field of digital wellbeing through non-formal education
  • Available for the whole mobility period
  • Open to learning, developing new skills and to working in a multicultural group
  • Able to engage actively in an educational process and in group work, appreciate an interactive model of learning and contribute to the creation of a comfortable environment in a group
