The main idea – which inspired us to carry out this project is to assist the integration
and socialization of the people with migrant or ethnic minority background also refugees, in
the communities where they’re migrated. The need for our project is clear – our societies
are still quite xenophobic and afraid of the unknown. They are afraid of different cultures
and do believe that people from other cultures want to dominate or destroy them. This fear
is caused by stereotypes and prejudices and is empowered by media, which shows often
only the negatives, and misses the positives, even more, a challenging situation is in social
media, where nowadays the fake news is spread without almost any control. This fake news
causes discrimination especially of those with a migrant background and leads to total
hatred of them.
Aim – to provide participants with required competencies on how to promote peace,
intercultural dialogue and tolerance and integration through digital sources.
To acknowledge the participants with the concept of conflict management, as tools of the
prevention the personal and interpersonal conflicts among youth;
to give the participants the practical skills and knowledge on how to find the difference
between reliable and unreliable information sources
Exchange Participants:
We are seeking for 5 participants from each country with the following
profile:
• 18-30 years old Group leader +25 years old resident (citizen) who
represents the country from where she/he comes
• The person who has been fully vaccinated and has the relevant proof
• Interested in topics of Human Rights, Youth impact on society and
Youth against discrimination
• Motivated, active member of society
• Willing to participate actively and share knowledge, experience and
positive energy with the other participants
