The project “Embrace Diversity” is a 7-working day Contact Making Event gathering 33 youth leaders from Armenia, Denmark, Georgia, Hungary, Malta, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom from May 19th-27th 2016 in Vadul lui Voda, Moldova.
The activities of the Contact Making Event will include interactive exercises, workshops, presentations,discussions and group work.
The activities of the Contact Making Event will be conducted in English and translation will not be provided. Therefore, the participants are expected to have a good level of English, both written and spoken.
Participants’ profile
In order to participate, the candidates should be over 18 years old and must fulfill the following requirements:
- Be a youth leader or non-formal educator directly working in a partner organization;
- Have a good conduct in English;
- Be able to attend the entire Contact Making Event;
- Be committed to disseminate the results of the project as widely as possible;
- Be committed to multiply the results of the project in the local communities.
Candidates who do not fulfill the above requirements will not be considered, and hence be taken off the list.
Application and selection procedure
You should send your CV to fiohvolunteers@gmail.com . The nominated participants shall complete an application form, which will be provided later.
Deadlines
The nominated participants should have sent their CV not later than 25.02.2016 .
Nominated candidates will be asked to complete the application form no later than March 10th, 2016. Confirmation of the participant selection will be announced by the organizer on March 14th, 2016 the latest.
Within 5 days after the selection results are announced, participants must prove that they have purchased their tickets with a copy of the invoice and a copy of the e-ticket, otherwise the organizers will select the next person from the waiting list.
Costs:
The EU contribution for the travel expenses per participant is as follows:
- 275€ travel cost
Participants shall be reimbursed for their travel expenses up to the amount available for their countries and no more than their real costs.
The amounts have been calculated using the distance calculator of the European Commission from the location of each sending organization to the venue.
Should the travel expenses exceed the contribution available, participants shall cover the extra costs from own resources.
Additionally, the reimbursement will be performed only if the following conditions are met:
- Participants submit their individual participant report as requested by the European Commission through the Mobility Tool.
- Participants and their sending organizations send the organizers a proof of dissemination activities.
